One of the keys to OUTDOOR SURVIVAL is the ability to start a fire under any condition or weather.
Over the years I’ve carried different types of fire starter materials to go with my source of ignition Butane lighter, waterproof matches, magnesium block, etc are all good for starting the flame, but having amazing tinder to go with it increases success exponentially.
