Looking for a receiver sight for your Winchester / Browning / Chiappa Model 1886 / Model 71?
This sight sits low and rugged positioning the "peep" just above the hammer face. Unlike tang mounted sights, the Skinner 1886 sight allows a normal "thumb over wrist" carry of the rifle and is not hitting you in the nose during stiff recoil. Tang sights are often down when you want them up, up when you want them down and are easily bent out of position.
Not so with our Skinner 1886 sight.
This is a very rugged sight, machined from solid bar stock, and adjustable for windage and elevation.
This sight ships with a .096" aperture installed. Accepts any of our 5 aperture sizes.
Mounting screws and wrenches included.
Requires two screw holes drilled and tapped for mounting. Use the sight as a template for location. Holes are 6-48 X .860" Center to Center. We recommend advanced hobbyist or any capable gunsmith for install.
