SKINNER "SCABBARDS"
(Gun Cases)  I've been a hunter and a shooter all my life. Consequently, carrying, storing, and protecting my firearms has been a learning process, always looking for the case that filled my needs. Nothing seemed just "perfect" so I set out to design and produce our own line of cases built just for your "GO TO" guns that you use regularly. Like Skinner Sights, our cases are carefully crafted in a small shop at the foot of the Mission Mountain Range in Western Montana. I have worked to bring function and form together in a way that compliments your beautiful firearms while allowing adequate protection and ease of carry. Constructed of padded cordura and Nylon using buckles and webbing, our cases will not scratch or ding your guns. (like traditional zippers which also eventually break or wear out) These cases are lightweight, compact, and designed to last for years of use. THESE CASES WORK !!! A note on COLORS... TWO GUN cases are Brown, Green, and Blue. FOLDING TAKE DOWN and FLAT TAKE DOWN are Brown, Green, or Black. PLEASE ACCEPT OUR APOLOGIES BUT WE CAN NOT GUARANTEE A CHOICE OF COLOR. Stocking every length and every style in all three colors is not practical at this time. We have these made locally in a small shop and often utilize the colors on hand. If you would like to make a "request" for a color we will see what is in stock. Otherwise, Folding and Flat Take Down cases will be Black, Brown, or Green as available. The "FOLDING TAKEDOWN" Case  When you are "On The Go" there is nothing quite as handy as a takedown rifle or short shotgun. Our FOLDING TAKEDOWN case is available in two lengths, ( 20" and 24"), and includes an outside pocket sized for a box of ammuntion. Inside is a pouch for storing a hunting size knife, cleaning kit, etc. (Inner Pouch will accomodate a Supressor up to 1 3/4"dia. X 12" long) Small "loops" are attached at each end to allow you to use your rifle sling with detachable swivels as a carrying strap. (Skinner Minimal Sling Also Available Seperately)  After storing your rifle, ammo, etc, fold this case in two and securely fasten with the two quick release buckled straps for an amazingly Handy "GO TO" package! After folding, this case is no more than 20 - 24" long and thin enough to store under the seat of a Pickup, on a Four Wheeler, Boat Storage Hatch, Bush Plane, etc. To tell the truth, since I started using mine, I'm LOVING IT!!! $59 The "FLAT TAKEDOWN" Case  WOW... This one is SO SLIM AND TRIM its WONDERFUL !!! When you first look at this case you think... "How did they do that???" This case incorperates a inner padded barrier to seperate the two halves of your takedown gun. The two halves compliment each other in shape so when the flaps are closed this case is only slightly thicker than the gun itself. Nicely padded, secured with quick release buckles, and "loops" for using the Skinner Minimal Sling" (available seperately) Available in 2" increments starting at 24" up to 28" (24" stocking item, other sizes by special order.) Also: This case does not look like a traditional gun case so your gun is "camoflaged" from peering eyes. $49 The "TWO GUN" Case  Anyone else tired of carrying extra cases to the vehicle and range? Wouldn't it be great if there was a nicely padded case that held two firearms in the same space as a one gun, bulky case? I've been asking for this case for years and decided it was time to produce our own.  Like our "Flat Takedown" case, this case has the MAGIC of a inner padded layer that keeps the two rifles seperate and protected from each other. Slip each rifle/shotgun in from opposing ends and buckle the flap securely with the quick release adjustable straps. No wider than a conventional one gun case, you will be amazed how balanced and easy this case is to carry.  Of course it will carry "one" rifle perfectly if you wish, allowing you the option of taking "TWO". $54 Please indicate length needed using the drop down box at checkout. The Skinner "SCABBARD" Case  We live an Active lifestyle in Montana and I've always wanted a case without zippers that fully protects the firearm, holds it securely, padded, with carry handles that doubles as a Saddle Scabbard. Thats not to much to ask right??? RIGHT! The Skinner "Scabbard" case was designed to fill all those needs. This case uses the same padded Cordura / Nylon construction of our other cases. With no zipper to break, you can secure the full flap with the adjustable quick release buckle and use the "Scabbard" straps to hang on your saddle, four wheeler, fasten into the boat, truck, etc. etc...  While this "Scabbard/Case" will work with any firearm up to 38" long, (40" also available) I designed it to fit the Marlin Guide Gun for a "GO TO" everyday using rifle. With nylon loop handles, this "Scabbard" is also a great everyday case for transporting your gun. This is a "minimal" Nylon Sling Includes Quick Detatch Swivels. $20 Use this strap as a "SLING" for your rifle/shotgun and then as a "CARRY STRAP" for your "SKINNER TAKEDOWN CASE"  THE "QUIVER"  $99 At Skinner Sights we are always looking for "solutions" to everyday "needs". I recently came across these handsome, rugged, durable, cool, useful, authentic, "Quivers" for carrying and protecting your favorite Levergun, Shotgun, or ? What a great way to carry and protect your firearm in the field! Years ago a dear friend made a heavy leather quiver for my arrows. He used an authentic Howard Hill pattern and I LOVE IT! This GUN "QUIVER", MADE IN THE USA, from hand selected TOP GRAIN COWHIDE, captures the pleasure of that Archery Quiver and provides the same satisfaction and practicality for Rifles and Shotguns. We have put everything from a Rossi 92, Rio Grande, Circut Judge, Marlin 1894's, 1895's, 336's, 39's, Savage 24, Remington 870 Pump (With 18" barrel) Ruger #3, Henry Golden Boy, Big Boy, and a H001 in this case and it carrys them all securely and comfortably. One size fits all, left and right handed. Scabbard is top notched for easy weapon access and quick draw. Adjustable sling with shoulder pad ensures proper fit and comfort for extended wear. SIZE: 29" X 6" X 2 1/2" Like all good leather products, once this "Back Holster"is used and broken in, it will fit your gun like a glove. Heavy leather is stiff when new but will conform to your specific firearm with use. Mine looks great hanging from the corner of my Log Bed at the Cabin and keeps the Marlin 94 (stuffed full of Buffalo Bore Ammo) within easy reach when things go bump in the night....
