Description

Ladder sights were popular in the late 1800's for many different types of rifles.

For the past few years, finding a good quality Ladder Sight has been difficult.  Machined from solid steel Bar stock, the SKINNER SIGHTS ladder sight is as rugged as the guns they will be mounted on.

We start with solid bars of steel, then machine away everything that doesn't look like a Ladder Sight...

FEATURES A NOMINAL 3/8" DOVETAIL

(Made slightly oversize to allow fitting to various manufactures Dovetails)

Graduations are "Generic" and are for point of reference only.

(They are patterned after the 1884 Trapdoor Springfield Buffington Sight scale)

"When Marlin planned the 150th Anniversary rifle, they reached out to us and asked for a quality, nicely made ladder sight.  This sight is not a replica of any earlier era sight.  There were many designs and looks, this is a compilation of several attributes all rolled into one.  I enjoy plinking at steel targets at long ranges.  This makes it fun !"  Andy
